THREADS - EARTHY GEOMETRIC

This is two outfits in one posts.  Sheinside sent me this super cuddly snuggly sweater... It is the most crazy cuddle sweater ever, Im serious.  Im actually wearing it right now, just the sweater, while drinking my coffee.  It could almost be like a winter robe...  I love the colors and patterns too, so that is just an added bonus. 

When I put this next outfit together the other day, I really thought I was going to wear this sweater out... but it ended up being just a tad too much and too warm... so I switched sweaters... I thought I'd show the option of both so I photographed both for you! 

Now here is the outfit with another sweater... very similar colors and patterns.  It was just more suitable for our events for that day.  Im kind of a layering fool at times, I know.. I cant help myself.

THREADS - CORAL MOON

This was what I wore the other night on my date with my bestie.  Ive been on an Obella Organics kick lately, and this skirt is no exception.  Betsy's color palette is so beautiful, and each piece she makes is soooo comfortable.  I cannot wait to watch her collection grow.  And this handmade clutch from Bird Trouble was the most perfect combo with the color of the skirt!  This is the first clutch Ive ever owned.  Ive always been afraid I would leave my purse somewhere if it was a clutch, b/c Im so used to having a strap around me, but so far, Ive been good!!  And even though Im so ready for fall and just want to start wearings boots, I need to squeeze in as much sandal time as I still can.  These blowfish sandals are still some of my favorites.  They are starting to get in some amazing boots for winter though!!  And... the body chain is a new piece for Roots and Feathers, coming soon.  Its been a while since Ive made one.  I have soooo many new things to list.  Im starting to get re-inspired, after feeling a huge lull for a long time.  I think the cooler weather may have brought with it a touch of my creative spirit back.  Thank you winds of change.

These were taken in my backyard next to my little garden box with plumbego and pomegranate bush.  I cut all of my tomato plants back and my herbs, and they are all starting to rebush and look beautiful again after so much texas heat this summer.  Its time to start planting a fall garden.  Its the perfect weather to get outside and play.  This morning while I was talking on the phone to my nanna, there were four hummingbirds buzzing around my head, playing with each other.  It was so cute.  I love how they are not afraid to get super close to you.  Amazing little creatures.

Threads - Tee Pee Dress >>>

Its been a little while since Ive shared an outfit post. Im here today with what I wore to my Nanna's the other night. James just printed these tee pee dresses for Skyline Fever, and I had to nab one. This beautiful vest is from Obella Organics.  Im so in love with it.  It layers with almost anything.  I want one in every color.  Im loving her new work, and cant wait to see her fall releases!  This amazing triangle necklace is from Moorea Seal.  Its meant to be worn long, but I really wanted it short for this outfit, so I just added a simple little golden triangle to the end of the chain that hangs down so it looked like it was meant to be like that.  Now I can wear it short or long!  This darling purse was gifted to me by my bestie this week, and Im so excited that it is the perfect size for my camera.  I love it.  I added a little purse decor from my Roots and Feathers shop to it.  To top it all off, my favorite Blowfish sandals.  Again, comfiest shoes in the world.  And, you can get 15% off by using the code on their button on my sidebar, and clicking on the button to shop!

Violet, Obella & Roots and Feathers...

Today Violet got to be a free dog for the first time in two months!!!  She did great at her check up and they gave her the okay to be outside a bit off the leash.  For those of you who are fairly new to reading, she had heartworms, and has been on medication and house bound for two months now.  She came through like a pro.  No doubt that all of your prayers were heard.  She sure had so much love shown to her when I first posted about it here.

When we went to the post office today (with my 19 packages to mail in hand) I was so happy to get my Obella Organics headwraps in the mail.  We had a wonderful trade with each other.  You can see her recent post wearing her Violet Bella scarf tank, and both her and her two precious little girls wearing VB braided headbands.  So so darling.  This girl is a true gem in this world.  I love her morals and the way she lives her life and raises her family.  Such an amazing woman.  So... onto my headwraps from her.  I LOVE them.  I got two different colors, one short and one long.  This is the long one.  Im excited about all of the different ways I can wear it.  Today, I wore it sort of like a messy turban/bun wrap.  I wear my hair up alot when I dont want to mess with it, so this worked perfectly!  Im planning on using this long wrap as a belt and as a scarf this fall.

Also, today I worked on a batch of new earrings for my Roots and Feathers line.  They are single (solo) earrings and are tassel like with vintage trims and such, and beads, and some have feathers.  Ive had these dreamt up in my head since I first made my necklaces in the shop with the fabric strips.  They are some of my favorites.  And Im kind of obsessed right now with single earrings.  Im pretty much in love.  I think these are going to be a staple in my fall wardrobe.

On another note, I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of your comments on my last post.  So many people took so much time and heart and thought into your words you left me, and so many of them left me with tears rolling down my cheeks.  I am moved, literally, moved, by the kindness I have received from people I have never met, all across the globe.  Thank you for allowing me to have this space online as my safe place to share my soul.  It has truly been a huge part of my healing process.  I think I would be in a much different state if I was not able to share these things openly.  Honestly, blogging has allowed me to really find myself in a way.  Writing out my thoughts on a daily basis, really keeps me in touch with what is real in my life, and being able to go back and look at the posts I have written, have sort of allowed me to grow within myself more.  Does anyone else feel that way?
