DREAM LIST

This is my dream xmas list.  I call it my 'dream' list, b/c in reality I know most of these things are just not realities... b/c I apparently I have really expensive taste... but it was fun browsing and collecting some of my favorite things that made my heart flutter.

 

1. Run With The Tribe Gaia crop top in desert sand.  Alana's work just touches my soul, and knowing her heart makes that run so much deeper.

 

2. Novella Royale Floral Stripe Janis Bells.  I've been wanting these for ever... they were sold out for a long time and now they are back.  She is my alltime favorite designer.  I could wear every single item she sells, if only I could afford them...

 

3. Bird Trouble Spanish Double Headed Eagle bag.  I have never come across a bag designer I love more than Alexz.  My favorite bags I own, and this one just screams my name.

 

4. The Curators Prints 'La Luna' print.  Needs to be on my wall.

 

5. Canon 5D Mark II.  I told you it was a 'dream' list.  This baby has been in my dreams for a long time... I'm saving my pennies for a 'one day'... Oh yes.

 

6. I Heart Norwegian Wood Scarf Top.  A long time fan of this shop.  This top makes me ooze with drool.

7. Clarissa Pinkola Estes The Creative Fire audio book.  Or any other book or audio by her.  I'd love to have her entire collection of works one day. 

8. Prismacolor watercolor pencil set.  The 36 one, you know, the big one.  Because I don't dig the primary colors, just the beautiful shades that they only add to the BIG sets... I'm picky with my colors like that.  

9. Mary Ink Ventana sweatshirt.  Long time fan of Maryink.  Love their work.  And we've met them in person and talked to them for a good while... super amazing down to earth peeps.  Love them.

10. Siamic Wear tribal leggings.  This shop is a brand new find for me and oh. my.  In love.  These leggings are so ridiculously rad, yes yes yes!!!

THREADS - SNAKE EYES

This is what we wore the night before our anniversary, when we went on our pizza date.  James let me snap a photo of him.  That doesn't happen very often...  I pretty much was in love with the combo of this outfit.  I picked up this skirt at goodwill a few weeks ago, and my friend Staci from A Ruby Rosebud came over and helped me turn it into a hi-lo skirt, from a long granny skirt.  I love it now!  I think the hi-lo style is my absolute favorite.  Im realizing how much I love layering my harvest moon top from Lune Vintage with florals or patterns with color.  Remember this outfit?  And anyone who has been following for a while knows how much I love this fringe vest from f21.  I layer it with so much!  The spark for this entire outfit through was these amazing boots from BCFootwear, (they are called snake eyes).  Someone commented on my instagram pic of them asking if they made these just for me!!  Ha, I think they did subconciously.  They are absolutely perfect boots.  Each pair they hand distress to give them a vintage worn feel.  I accessorized with this amazing antler necklace from Run With The Tribe, and a discontinued bracelet from Flourish Leather.

We had a really nice date that night at Fralo's pizza.  It was jam packed with people.  We stood to get a table for almost an hour!  But we enjoyed ourselves.  I think we have now gone to Fralo's for our anniversary for 4 our of 5 years... I think.  James is off for an entire week right now.  We are taking care of some things out at my dad's house, running errands, getting ready for company all weekend, and friday I'll be getting my tattoo sleeve finished!  Im so excited.  It's been paid for since my last session which was well over a year ago.  The week has filled up quick with to-do's, so I hope James feels like he actually gets a little break from work by the time its over...

THREADS - BLUE VELVET

I have been dying to share these pants for well over a week now!  Ive worn them a few times, but haven't been able to get pics until the other night when we went out with our friend Christie to see the Ataris play.  She came home for a week long visit and we were happy to spend some time with her.  Now that she lives in California, we only see her a few times a year, if that.  She came over and had a little campfire with us too!  

So, back to these amazing pants!!!  They are from Iconoclasp on etsy!  She makes them custom fit to your size, in a few different colors.  I had a pair of blue velvet pants in high school that were my favorites, and I wore them until a huge hole ripped in the butt of them!!  Ive been on the lookout for another pair ever since.  They are a dream come true.  Fit to perfection!!  I kind of can't say enough good things about them.  Its love.  I layered them with some simple tanks and a black knit cardigan.  Along with this beautiful and simple quartz necklace from Run With The Tribe and studded leather bracelets from Moorea Seal.  Run With The Tribe has some amazing new jewelry right now.  My favorite being this single earring.  And you can barely see them, but I wore some of my Blowfish boots with them... so happy its boot season again!

James wore his shirt from Sevenly.  I wish I could affored to get each new shirt that comes out every week, all for amazing causes.  A very cool company.

It was awesome seeing The Ataris right in San Antonio.  James and I listened to them in high school, and for a bit San Dimas High School Football Rules was our song.  Kind of cool to have memories that go so far back, and to be able to revisit them so many years later.  And its great to see bands still doing their thing after so many years as well.  We got to meet and chat with Kris for a bit and he is super nice.  It was a great night.

This was my getup for my date night with my bestie the other night.  We went to our local wine bar and a lovely evening out with each other.  Just what I needed before diving head first into The Bohemian Collective preparations.  Im off for a busy day.... so this will be a quickie..
