I'm back with another style post from one of my favorite bloggers, Savannah from Maie Dae.  Savannah wears Roots and Feathers like none other.  Everything pops so well with her beautiful red hair and the color palette of her wardrobe style... AUTUMN JEWELRY

Today there will be a massive shop update!!!  Its about time...  Above are just a few sneak peeks at the new works.  And yes, Bella helped me wire wrap all the arrowheads.  She is such a good helper!  This is probably my favorite group of jewelry so far.  I seriously want to keep every single piece.  Stay tuned throughout the day with my Roots and Feathers shop.  I will be listing them all day long as I can.  Most of this batch are one of a kind items, so I wont be duplicating them exactly.  But if something you loved sells, just send me a message to see if I can make something similar.  Enjoy!

Hi, my name is Tami Cicale and I own and operate two Etsy shops- September Willow and Paige and Penelope. I am married with two boys, 15 and 5, and work full time as a police officer for a large metropolitan department. I also teach police report writing seasonally at our local community college. Though I am very busy, I absolutely love creating jewelry and hair pieces for my Etsy shops. It gives me the balance that I crave after dealing with work and students all day. I usually can be found late at night after the house is settled and quiet working in my dining room on my latest pieces. I love supporting homemade, individual artists, and endlessly browsing though one great shop after another on Etsy. My style has evolved and continues to change. I make what moves me, whether its using crystals, stones, beads, or metal. I especially love mixing it up and using materials together that you wouldn't typically think would work. 

When I am not working, I enjoy reading, trying new recipes that I have found on Pinterest, blogging, catching up on my missed episodes of True Blood (it's an addiction!) and most importantly, spending time with my family. My husband is also a police officer and works three K9 dogs so we sneak in time together whenever possible.

Though life can be hectic at time, I believe that you can make your own happiness- wake up and decide that you are going to follow your passion no matter how bumpy (or busy) the road may be.

Roots & Feathers Shop Update >>>

Good morning!  Its been a little quiet over here in my corner of the world.  Ive been working hard on my project coming soon.  I know many of you have been asking when its going to be released!  There is not an actual release date yet, but as soon as I know Ill announce it.  Most likely within the next week, eeek!!  I also had a little down between dropping my camera the other day and breaking my self timer, and then starting my monthly girl time...   So, not alot of picture taking over here these past 3 days.  But, its given me time to focus on the more nitty gritty parts of what Im doing that really needed to be done anyway.  So its all good!  I just got a new self timer in the mail, and its a fancy one this time, so I have some schooling to do before I can even use it!  ...I keep meaning to post on here that I have been listing lots of new pretties in my Roots and Feathers shop, and even a few in my Violet Bella shop!  And there are many more to come, so keep posted!
