Lace & Dreams - Art Photoshoot >>>

The other day I walked into my bathroom I was instantly inspired by the filtered light coming through the window, as well as the grime built up on my shower. Yes, I get excited when I see built up soap suds on glass. Im a little bit weird like that. So I snapped a few shots to play with and Im so glad I did. I love how lucid and dreamy they came out. I love the way the lace top looked in these shots.  In the third image, I superimposed one of my last lookbook shots with it.  

Perspective:  a new reason to be okay with a not so perfectly clean house... it makes good art!

Softspoken Collaboration - Part 1 >>>

A while back I worked on a photoshoot collaboration with Softspoken. I wanted to wait until she had a chance to upload the images to her shop before posting them. You can now find a few floating around in her listings! I adore her work, so very well made, and just the whole vibe of her company stands out to me from the sea of crochet artists. I just totally dig her. I did about 8 different styles, so there are way too many images to share all at once... So I decided to break it up into a few of my favorites from each style in different posts. This was one of my favorite styles from the shoot. 

Im currently working on a new collaboration with another artist, along with designing an actual lookbook, I cant wait to share!  And Im not spilling any beans, but I have a HUGE collaborative photo project Ill be working on in the background, Im so excited I could just burst.  Im hoping my dream really comes to fruition with this one!

New Lookbook Sneak Peak >>>

Ive been working on a new collection of jewelry for my Roots and Feathers shop, and Ive been anticipating making a new lookbook for it.  I had all of these big ideas in my head, and it was going to include another model, but she only has one day off a week, and I got the urge, so I just got up this morning and did it myself.  Ive spent the last 7 hours taking photos and editing...  I love love love doing these shoots.  Its the one thing I can get so into, that I just go go go for hours without stopping to eat or breathe.  Im very passionate for it.  This one isnt going to be as big as last season's lookbook, but I still love it.  Im hoping to have it finished in the next day or so!

*All of these beautiful images were taken by my dear friend Katelyn Demidow.  She did this project just for me!  I wanted her to be a part of my crazy busy days after the featured seller spot on etsy.  All I told her was the word 'feather' and her imagination and talent ran wild.  This is why I love this girl (among many more)...  Her beautiful model is Jerikaye Magdalena, who you will also see in this video below performing two fire dances as a part of Katelyn's recent blessing way for the awaited birth of her second child!!!  So sacred and beautiful.*
