It's kind of funny... the color red and me.  For most of my life I have hated the color.  Minus when I was 15 and painted all of my walls the same color as my shirt above, maybe a shade or two red-er b/c I was obsessed with vampires and all sorts of other things of that nature.  As Ive grown older, I began to hate the color.  Especially the primary version of it.  (I should say I have always enjoyed versions of it, like the burgundy wine shades above)... Ive just been thinking about the color alot lately.  Since taking the e-course I am in called Blushing Wild, we began exploring the idea of this color.  Ive known for a long time my aversion to it is heavily linked to my root chakra and it's imbalance.  So, I have been exploring this further.  And since then, red seems to keep popping up.  The other day a sweet friend of mine randomly sent me a pair of lush red velvet bell bottoms in the mail, just the day after we had a discussion about the color in the course.  The best part... I was instantly invigorated by the site of them and deeply madly in love.  Little things like that keep coming up, and I'm taking notice.

Anyway, this little outfit above got me thinking about my relationship to the color red.  And I particularly love my wine on wine on wine ensemble.  Also, I'm quite head over heals with these high rise bell bottoms from Pylo.  I have never met a better jean.  They have the perfect stretch to them for being high rise.  Since I am a shorty I did have to hem the quite a bit, but they did not lose their amazing bell.  I wish they came in every color.  I have daydreamed about coming across the perfect pair of high rise vintage bells forever, and they are quite hard to stumble upon unless you want to pay a really pretty penny, which I don't.  Anyway, it's love.  Pure sweet denim love.  And they are helping me embrace my curves... ;)
