Hi friend, welcome to my little corner of this thing we call the web. My name is Laura and I am the visionary + voice within this space. Throughout my life I have found myself dabbling in various mediums from painting to clothing design, photography to making magazines and the list goes on. Most recently you can find me in my home studio creating jewelry adornments + home accessories for Roots & Feathers, or in our garage helping the hubs print shirts for Skyline Fever with our little one at our ankles. My biggest hobby has been photography creating lasting memories with my friends prancing around the woods in beautiful clothing + laughing our butts off as we do so. After over 2 decades of having a camera in my hand, I finally decided to take the time to learn what I was actually doing this past year and it has been such a fun journey and has deepened my love for the art.
I am inspired by nature, my greatest teacher. Nature is my muse and music is my flow. The two always seem to intertwine themselves into whatever I am doing.
I am learning everyday on this journey called life a little thing called balance. As much as I love each of my creative babies, I want to always enjoy the little things in life... quiet time, being in nature, being with my people, playing with my little, sitting by fires, nourishing my body inside & out, taking baths, playing in the river, listening to music... the things that nourish my soul to the core in the simplest of ways. I am learning to balance my time between creation and stepping back to refill my well.
