One of my favorite ways to relax and rekindle my soul is to walk through the woods, very slowly, with camera in hand.  I like to pay close attention the all the details around me.  Take a closer looks at the leaves on the ground, or the way the light shines through something, or the textures of a piece of bark.  It seems to reconnect me with the earth and fills me back up.  Capturing these things with a camera is just second nature to me.  I wish all the time my eyes could take photos.  Especially when sitting in the passenger seat on drives...  These images are from one of my walks last week.  I love finding hidden surprises, like a dandelion petal stuck inside a deer skull.  How magical.
