Lots of new pretties...

Throughout the week I have been listing lots of adorable little goodies in the shop.  I had one day that I just got really busy and made a bunch of new jewelry, and it was very healing to do so.  Most of them are very simple designs, but they are darling.  I still have a few more to post also.  Nanna, now you can see all of the stuff I made!

Tonite my bestie is taking me to the movies.  Im so happy she invited me out, it will be so nice to just get away for a while and spend some time with her, just us.  We havent had a chance to do that yet.  And we just dont often enough period and Im determined to make that change.  We are going to a theater where we can drink a beer, eat a meal and watch a movie at the same time.  I love it.  It was my parents favorite theater to go to as well.

Roots and Feathers shop...

I talked to my Nanna on the phone this morning and she let me know that I had not posted a link to my new etsy shop, so she has not been able to see the actual jewelry for sale!  um, duh laura....  Made me realize that only my facebook friends have actually seen the new shop, sorry guys!  I still only have about half of the items posted.  Ive been so happy with everyone's response to the new line.  It really makes my heart warm.  So nanna, please click here to see my new shop!

These are just a few items in the shop, and some are already gone.  Most of the items in this shop are one of a kind, with the exception of some earrings and rings.  I can do custom orders though on certain items.

More New Spring Pretties...

I feel like the jewelry I have created over the past month or so, has been some of the prettiest yet.  And oh so me.  Spring has greatly inspired me this season with my color palettes.  You can find all of these pretties below in my shop.

The last few days have been spent cleaning and moving.  We have through today to get completely finished at our old house.  There is still cleaning, moving and yard work to be done!  We will both be so happy to be completely done with that part and say our final goodbye to the old house.  I am no longer attatched to it in any way.  After being here in the new house, I have realized just how dark that place was.  And in moving, I have realized, that even after our huge garage sale... I still have way too much stuff.  I will be weeding out once again and letting go of 'things'.  If I have too much stuff for this big house, then I have a problem, ha!  I must learn to let go of some things.

Here's to one LAST long day of cleaning and moving!  It's like the final step of really moving on...

Sweet Spring Pretties...

There are some adorable new styles in the shop for spring!  And there are also several in here that are just a preview of what is to come!  If there is one you want and dont see it in the shop, check back b/c it will be there soon.

After this weekend's little cool front, it feels like summer outside right now!  The sun decided to come out and play for all the bikers in our town this weekend.  Bandera has become quite the attraction for bikers over the last few years.  Every year they have a huge bike rally.  Too bad its not vintage bicycles, now I could get into that!  But tons of loud motors and beer drinking, not so much.

As for me... today is the 3rd day of waking up at 4 (actually 3 this morning) to take James to work.  I dont mind at all doing this for him, but it sure does have me off schedule and tired.  Im still packing boxes as much as I can.  We now have 11 days left, including today!  The countdown begins!  Im not going to lie, Im overwhelmed and stressed.  But I am trying  my hardest to keep it in check.  I dont feel like Im doing the best job of that, but Ill just keep reminding myself to.  I want this experience to be a fun one, but not quite feeling as excited as I thought I should.  I think just from being tired & overwhelmed.  This feeling better go away once we step foot in that door!

My new grandfather (my Nanna's amazing new beau) is having knee surgery on monday if everyone could keep him in their prayers.  Not a fun thing for him to do.  But hopefully in time this will help him walk better and not feel so much pain, if any at all.  I wish I could be there, but Ill be driving James to work and he has two doctors appointments monday and tuesday, and another appointment on wednesday.  We have successfully filled up the week before moving!  I think it is going to fly by!

Im super sorry if I have sounded like a bummer lately always talking about being overwhelmed.  I dont even know if I really have talked about it all that much, I just feel like it b/c its always in my mind.  But I know, this too shall pass.
