OUTFIT DETAILS: swimsuit - wolven threads // jacket - forever 21 // hat - free people // shorts - thrifted // boots - gift from sabrina // necklace - sailors omen

I might of had a little too much fun working on this shoot, hence, a million photos :)  I'm in love with this psychadelic swimsuit from wolven threads.  Their work is so unique.  I love the cut of this one in the back.  And I can't get over how pretty in looks with this sailor's omen necklace.  btw, have you seen her collection of necklaces in this style???  They blow my mind.  So freakin' gorgeous, all of them!!!

Today is the day after the full moon.  I must say the past few days have been pretty rough.  A sea of emotions.  Hopefully only to bring out a new beginning in many ways.  Sometimes your only choice is an end, or a new beginning.  I'm choosing a new beginning.  It can be so hard at times to treat something like a new beginning when your no where near the beginning, but I guess the reality is that everyday can be a new beginning.  So today, I choose to walk forward.  Once again.  And pray for a deep change in the heart to occur overtime.

Life.  It's messy. And beautiful. And hard. And hopeful. Ever changing and oh so constant.

Today would be the last day of my vacation if I had went with my family.  I'm sad b/c it didn't end up flooding again after all, so I missed the trip for nothing.  Last night I missed my friend's kiddos ballet recital b/c we were under another flash flood warning, and again, nothing.  Oh well.  I guess that is how life goes sometimes.  It was probably best I was home from my vaca b/c Ive spent everyday on the phone back and forth about my parents home b/c there are a few different offers going on at once all of a sudden.  It's exciting, and very confusing.  Along with many other emotions.  Even though I planned to have my own little vaca at home, day one was really the only day I was able to do so.  But its all good.  Life had other plans, and they were ones Ive been waiting to happen for a very long time.

About the outfit... I love the easy comfort of jeans and flowy top with sandals.  I'm not normally one for black and white prints, but I loved these stripes paired with the colorful band on top, and wearing it over my bathing suit top just made it even better!  And I love the way all the denim + leather kind of tones it down.  This free people hat has been glued to my head since I got it a few months back.  And I'm head over heels with this fringe bag.  All the bags from BaliELF are amazing.

I'm ready for the sun to come out and stay out for a while.  I have alot of fun lookbooks Ill be working on for the bohemian collective once we get some steady weather!

outfit details: swimsuit - swim outlet // kimono - flying tomato // hat - whisler civilian // necklace - sailors omen

This is probably the most vulnerable outfit post Ive ever done.  I honestly wasn't even sure I'd be brave enough to share a swimsuit post.  But I figure, you know what, this is me, as I am, so why not?  I'm learning to really embrace myself as I am, where I'm at in this moment lately.

I have actually never felt better in a swimsuit before, until I found this one.  The swim suit.  It's been a life long search for the right one.  I think I finally found my match.  I love that the top is reversable too.  The inside is a blue and white tie dye.  For the first time, I'm completely in love with a bathing suit.  You can find it under the Billabong section on swim outlet (among so many other cute items).

Ive had this Flying Tomato kimono for a few years now and couldn't believe how fun they look together!  I'll definitely be packing these babies in my bag for vaca!  I'm excited to go on our annual women's family trip to Wimberley next week.  I'm going to miss our little kitty so much!!!  But I know he'll be in good hands with James while I'm away.  Since he came along my instagram feed has pretty much become a cat feed!  I can't help it!  He is just so damn cute.  Ive literally already taken 1,000+ photos & videos of him and Ive only had him a week.  Geez.

Well, it's taking me ages to get anything posted here lately it feels like.  I have soooooo many posts to share.  My little Banjo has consumed my week with all his little needs.  It's been the sweetest thing in the world though, and probably exactly what I need.  It's been so fun to play mommy and give him tons of love and nurturing.  He is already growing and changing so much right before my eyes, its incredible.  I know I'm going to be missing these sweet kitten moments not too far down the road.  I can't even imagine how much he is going to change while I'm on vacation!  James is going to have send me a million photos while I'm away.

I'm sure many of you have seen the beauty that is Shovava.  If not, here is her amazing Owl scarf.  Her work is so stunning.  I love that it is all hand painted and then printed onto the scarves.  Blows my mind.  The owl on this scarf is so incredibly beautiful.  I love the earthy tones.  If I can ever find enough room on my walls, I might have to hang him up somewhere in my home when I'm not wearing it.

Besides kitty watching, this weekend we got to see our friend Christie who moved to Cali, and we got to meet her fiance for the first time.  Every time she comes home she has a huge get together at a local bar in town, so we met up there for the night on Friday.  It was so nice seeing her for a bit and getting to know Mark.  Great people.  And the next day they got to stop by our house and meet little Banjo!  I mean, how could they resist???  That evening we had tickets to a show, and even though we were so tired and didn't really feel like going out we did.  We saw Into It Over It and Minus the Bear, and some good friends of ours went too.  I felt like such an old lady.  We had to stand and wait for two hours before the bands played, and by that time I was already so over it and just wanted to be home.  I barely enjoyed any of the show.  My feet hurt, I was tired, and I just wanted to be home with my kitty, while I was surrounded by 100's of people enjoying the hell out of the show.  I was like, man what is wrong with me?  Why can't I just enjoy myself like everyone else?  I realized the next day my moon was in my 12th house (retreat time), and it all made sense.  I felt so uncomfortable being around so many people.  My hermit side was full out, and I felt like a foreigner plucked and placed in a sea of people.  It's hard to explain, and maybe only another empath hermit type would understand.  But I was screaming inside to get out of there.  But of course I wanted our friends to enjoy the show, so I stuck it out.  I spent the entire next day taking cat naps and laying on the couch.  Totally wiped out.

Today I feel like I'm waking back up.  I have time to play catch up on posts and emails.  The kitty is not crying anymore.  Bella is chilling outside.  James is at work.  Once he gets home well be busting out more shirts.  Any free moment weve had this week and all next week well be making shirts to get caught up before I leave.  So, I'm taking advantage of this sweet time I have this morning to work on my own little to do list.

I just posted the new moon astrology reports from Aquarius Nation over on the Bohemian Collective.  Go check them out!!!
