Photo Wood Blocks

Hopefully today when I get my traveling and bird feeding done, I am going to be working on a custom order necklace for my friend Shauna from PPP... And when I sit down to do any photo jewelry work, I like to do a bunch at a time, because it is such a process... so I think I might work on some more photo blocks while Im at it. I think its time I get these babies back on the market. I love the look of them so much. You can do so many different layouts with them.

Just one next to a little lamp on the wall or on the desk. One on your work desk. Put them in a row above your bed, or in square of four or eight. The possibilities are really left up to your imagination. They can be hung or set anywhere flat.

And Beth, if you are reading this, I am also going to be working on some for the shop, and some photo jewelry!

Unless of course it decides to rain on me again. It has been so muggy outside that I cant get these projects done on the days I have had time to. But dont worry girls, I am getting there!

For an Old Soul

Here are some more shots I got the day we went to my favorite antique store in Fredericksburg. That is where the 'TRAVEL' photo in my last post was taken. It wasnt actually a library, just one in the basement of an old antique store. This antique store is filled with the most magnificent stuff. It was my mother's favorite one. We could never buy anything in it because it is all so old and expensive. But just walking through it fills you with wonder and excitement. It is the biggest room of eye candy for an old soul. Well, its actually a huge 3 story building! I actually just discovered the basement this last time we went!!!

And for those of you last missed it, go check out my last blog to see the sale going on in both of my shops!

Laura

New Flyer, New Art, New Customer!!!

A while back I got Janel from Run Wish Scissors to draw me a little flyer for Violet Bella! This is what she sent me!!! She left it black and white for me to fill in the colors, which I thought was very thoughtful. I had so much fun coloring it in. I just got the idea last night to shrink them down to little 3x5 cards, and Ill be sending them out with all of my orders from now on! I am just over the top excited with how cute they came out! Thank you a million Janel!!!

I was so excited she got this pillow case top, it was from one of my best friends and it was her set when she was a little girl, and Felicia, this beautiful girl in the photo, has a matching blanket from when she was little!!! How wonderful is that???
Big Love to everyone!

I think I will be posting new stuff to the shop later today, so be on the lookout!
