AUTUMN JEWELRY

Today there will be a massive shop update!!!  Its about time...  Above are just a few sneak peeks at the new works.  And yes, Bella helped me wire wrap all the arrowheads.  She is such a good helper!  This is probably my favorite group of jewelry so far.  I seriously want to keep every single piece.  Stay tuned throughout the day with my Roots and Feathers shop.  I will be listing them all day long as I can.  Most of this batch are one of a kind items, so I wont be duplicating them exactly.  But if something you loved sells, just send me a message to see if I can make something similar.  Enjoy!

OUR NEW BLOG HOME

Im finally working out all the kinks in the blog as far as the new url goes.  I realized this week that about half of my readers went missing, and I knew it was from the change I had made.  If you previously followed my blog via bloglovin, feedburner or email, please re-subcribe or re-follow in order to receive new blog updates in your feed.  If you followed via Google Friend Connect and are not seeing the new updates, please simply unfollow me, and then re-follow.  A few people have told me that worked for them!  Ill link below for an easy re-follow for you guys!  Sorry for the confusion this week!  

I know I already mentioned this the other day, but that was before I realized how to make the changes I needed to make, so if you refollowed then, it was probably for nothing, sorry!  Please do it again :)

Threads - Red Headed Stranger >>>

Here is the one and only outfit post with my red hair!!  It is now currently back to blonde... After about 5 days of having, I realized I still just did not love it.  So I decided to strip it and go back to brown and blonde, and I instantly felt better.  Thank you for all the wonderful response to the red though, you guys are too sweet!!!

I will never get over loving this top from Lulu's.com.  Pretty much one of my favorite pieces in my closet.  And this necklace from Spiral Drift.  Her pieces to me are complete artworks in and of themselves.  I feeeeeel her love she put into them.  And yeah, you know my love for my Blowfish shoes... These are James favorites!  Everytime I wear them he smiles and tells me he loves them... its so cute!

The single earring I am wearing is one style of a new little collection in my Roots and Feathers shop.  Each one is one of a kind and eclectic.  I adore them... There are lots of other new pieces that went up yesterday as well!

Soulful Threads >>>

Its not very often that I share my custom orders here on the blog... but this one is so dear to my heart I felt a yearning to.  I made this little tattered flag for a friend, and it simply turned out to be my favorite flag Ive ever made.  Every inch of this creation is so 'me', and coincidentally was so 'her'... Amazing how two souls can collide over a piece of art.  It has been so long since Ive made these flags... this was an inspiration to me to take the time to create some more.  Once I get past my wholesale orders and can find my way back into the studio with a creative mindset, I intend to.  Ive been itching to do some good soul work in the studio for a while, but I can't allow myself to without squirming until all of the 'business' is taken care of first... And sometimes that is never-ending.  Do any of you ever feel that way?  Im starting to think I should set aside a time amount each day just for new creations, regardless of what else is going on...

Im so honored to know that this little flag sits in a home where it is looked upon with such loving intention and meditation.  Not only is this a compilation of old fabrics, sticks and feathers, it is being a catalyst for spreading love and light onto its beholder, and I couldn't ask for more in any of my creations.
