Threads - Jumper + Kicks >>>

I had fun today with my outfit shoot.  It was the golden hour, and I was already done with my errands for the day, so I decided to take the time and play. It had been a while since Ive had a chance to do an outfit post in the evening time, so I took full advantage!  Oh, and I kind of cant believe how long my hair has grown!!

This outfit was pretty much just fun and cute.  I got this denim jumper a while back from Lost Boys & Lovers and realized I keep forgetting to break it out of the closet.  And Im starting to really see my obsession for the color brown.  I almost cant make an outfit without some brown in it.  I layered the jumper with one of my favorite little pieces from Whats Olivia Wearing, this little crochet top.  I can layer this baby over anything!  And this wide belt just came off of another dress I own.  The uh-mazing necklace is from Spiral Drift.  I dont think Ill ever get over how much I love her work.  A truly talented artist.  The fedora, seen on this blog a ton of times... is the only hat Ive ever had really, besides my beanies and such.  The first hat Ive ever found that I truly feel comfortable in... Its from Forever 21.  And last but definitely not least, my new kicks from Blowfish Shoes.  Wowsers these babies are adorable.  I can see these going with so much.  I cant wait to wear them in the fall with my skinnies and a sweater!

Yeah, that was alot of talk about clothes... geez.  But, I dooo adore them.

Im excited to meet up with some of my parents old friends today for lunch.  Always good to visit with them.  Growing up, my parents had a big assortment of really amazing people in their life, and they all treated me like I was one of them.  I never felt like I couldnt be their friend or talk to them, just because they were my parents age.  They were always just my friends too.  So although it is bittersweet to come together with them without my parents being there too, its nice to reminisce with folks who shared the same love for them that I have.

Also for the first time in a while yesterday, I was able to spend a little bit of time back in my studio!  So I have a brand new little something coming soon.  I may spend the time to make a few more before releasing them into the wild, but I love them!  Im feeling its time to dig in and work on new beauties.  Ive been feeling a little burned out after the big creative flow of the lookbook we just created... so the best remedy for that is to work on something entirely new!  Well see what happens.

P.S. You should go check out my friend Moorea's pretty pictures I posted last night on The Bohemian Collective, they are dreamy.  Also, the September Willow sale starts today!!

Threads - Tee Pee Dress >>>

Its been a little while since Ive shared an outfit post. Im here today with what I wore to my Nanna's the other night. James just printed these tee pee dresses for Skyline Fever, and I had to nab one. They are not listed yet, but we have one small, large and extra large available... if you would like to reserve one, just leave a comment below with your email address, first come first serve. These are the only ones we will have of these unfortunately. We are coming to the end of our stock. You can check out his shop to see others similar to it and to view prices.

This beautiful vest is from Obella Organics.  Im so in love with it.  It layers with almost anything.  I want one in every color.  Im loving her new work, and cant wait to see her fall releases!  This amazing triangle necklace is from Moorea Seal.  Its meant to be worn long, but I really wanted it short for this outfit, so I just added a simple little golden triangle to the end of the chain that hangs down so it looked like it was meant to be like that.  Now I can wear it short or long!  This darling purse was gifted to me by my bestie this week, and Im so excited that it is the perfect size for my camera.  I love it.  I added a little purse decor from my Roots and Feathers shop to it.  To top it all off, my favorite Blowfish sandals.  Again, comfiest shoes in the world.  And, you can get 15% off by using the code on their button on my sidebar, and clicking on the button to shop!

Threads - Bird On The Buffalo >>>

Here today with a simple outfit post.  I received this tank top from Sevenly in the mail last week, and absolutely love it!  Their company is super amazing.  They come out with new exclusive designs each week, geared for specifics organizations and causes, and a part of each shirt sale goes directly towards that cause for the week.  And their designs are nothing short of awesome.  Its hard to tell here, but its a buffalo with feathers and it says 'hope is alive'.  Perfection.  And yeah, Im pretty much in love with this feathered necklace sent to me c/o My Sweet Life.  Definitely going to be a new staple in my wardrobe!  Today is the LAST day to enter her giveaway.  And (i know im not suppose to start sentences with and, but i do it all the time...AND that is not going to change)... my favorite way to make a simple tank and jeans outfit feel just a tad bit more dressy is to add a wedge, like these blowfish ones.  I love these ones so much b/c even though they have some height to them, they are still flat, so I dont feel like Im wearing heels at all.  Super comfy!

Today I will be attending a funeral for a sweet friend we lost this week.  Her and her husband were my best and favorite customers I had while waiting tables in our small town.  I became good friends with them through that time, and its a great loss.  She was such a wonderful woman, and my heart breaks for her husband who is left behind.  I know all too well what death and time can do to a man.  If you could, send loving vibrations to this beautiful man while he endures this dark period of his life.

Also, Im busy getting ready for my company coming, who will be staying a week with me!  Im super excited!  Hoping to get all of my orders and things out of the way before hand.  My brain is starting to go into full photography mode since she will be photographing the new lookbook for The Bohemian Collective.  I posted last night a post about the direction and changes that will be happening over there if you would like to read.  It explains the whole blog in very simple terms for those of you who have been a bit confused about it.
