So basically this dress is a badass!  That's all I gotta say.  And just fyi, it is short (I'm only 5' 2") and there is no stretch to it, so if you don't want it tight around your bum, size up, it has a baggy style to it anyway so it won't matter.  I actually can't wait for next fall now to wear this with tights and boots... mmmmm....  And I have to say it goes quite well with my little tee pee :)

This necklace is back in my shop, but its made to order and will take about two weeks (or more) before shipping, but it is available! 

I don't think Ill ever get tired of this Lovely Bird hat.  It is simply the best hat ever.

First of all, I want to talk about these sandals, b/c they are so very special.  I was contacted by Buyamba about their footwear and after reading a bit about them, I fell in love instantly.  Beyond just being beautiful footwear, there is a huge mission and purpose behind them.  They have partnered with displaced women from Uganda to create these beautiful beads for their shoes.  So far this has given over 200 women fair wage jobs, giving them a better opportunity to provide for their families after the effects of war.  The beads are all made from scraps of magazines and trash, and are processed through a lead free & water based process, which makes them also environmentally friendly.  Also, a percentage of all sales of their products are also given back to the community for the children to further educate them and provide nutritional needs.  I would say these little colorful beads are doing alot of good!!! 

Their line is brand new and they just launched their spring line.  And I cannot wait for their fall line.  It will be full of amazingly yummy boots... You can read more about their mission here.

On a side note, this outfit makes me to want to go to the beach and pick up seashells so bad!  I really hope we get to have one little getaway to the beach this summer.  I could really use it.  The past two weeks have been a bit crazy and rough, but I do see the light at the end of the tunnel!  Its all good stuff, just keeping me so busy I forget to breath.

I named this one casual sunday (even though this wasn't worn on a sunday, but today is sunday, so it counts!)... b/c so many days of mine are very casual.  I tend to only want to share my daily outfits that have a bit more interest to them, but I think I need to photograph more of the simple casual ones too, b/c its a huge side to my daily fashion as well.  I love just wearing jeans or cutoffs with very simply one color tees, and of course some fun jewelry.  I found this tee at aerie during one of their sales for $8 and it was just about the best spent $8 ever.  I have worn this shirt sooooo much at home, it is so so cozy.  I found these jeans at goodwill a few weeks ago, and though they are not my favorite style they are uber comfy.  AND I'm so happy its almost the season to be wearing my rope soles again!  We have still been having a few days that go back to being chilly here, but for the most part, spring is here!  I took this sweater with me the other day while running errands in case I got too cold in places.  It's way brighter than most things I wear but I think its fun! 

And speaking of casual sunday, its sunday and almost noon and I'm still in my sweatpants and sports bra.  So yeah, cheers to casual sunday!

We had an impromtu date night with our friends at our local chinese restaurant the other night and this is what I wore.  It was so nice to connect with them, even just over dinner.  It had been so long.  It was really nice to catch up with them.  And I tried a new dish, which I normally don't do.  I'm a sucker for ordering the same thing everytime from certain restaurants, but I went out on a limb and ordered the basil chicken and was pleasantly surprised!  (big stepping out of the box, right?)  Funny how we get habits that we stick to for years.  I need to try this more often when eating out, although we don't really eat out that much.  James and I are savers, so eating out is usually just a treat for us now and then. 

I just got this sweet top from Elephant & Bird and I LOVE they way it fits.  Its loose and long, and that is something I love b/c I wear alot of leggings and skinnies, and it just works.  And, I love the color. 

So... last night I ordered the BIGGEST batch of shirts Ive ever ordered to make all these Dylan pre-order tees!  So excited.  We still have so much to do around the house before we can even begin to make them and Ive been feeling under the weather the past two days.  My body is trying to get sick so bad.  But I'm keeping it at bay so far.  Crossing my fingers I can keep everything together through the month of April...
