Hello little blog... it's been a while.  I have taken a serious little hiatus from here lately.  Not exactly intentionally, it's just sort of happened naturally.  As things in my life have been shifting I have found my focus in other areas.  I am ready to start finding balance with this space again though b/c I know too much time away can be the beginning of the end and I don't want that.

I have no idea what 2015 is going to look like, as it is all the unknown of course, but I have a good feeling about it.  I feel alot of newness coming in.  Big changes and shifts.  I feel like Ive been unknowingly preparing for something yet to be revealed.  Ive lost a bit of focus along the way and am beginning to feel a bit scattered again as I emerge myself back into the real realm of work and doing.  My road splits in so many directions it can get confusing at times which path to take each day.

I keep dreaming about rivers.  Maybe I'm getting the message to go with the flow of life.  Something Ive been learning more and more about as I have allowed myself to 'do' less and 'be' more.  It's kind of against my nature.  I'm a doer.  Constantly.

Slowly but surely I will find just the right balance of work, play, blogging, doing, creating, resting, self caring, etc.  Life happens, inevitably, so the more I learn to go with the flow of the seasons within me, the better I am for it.  I'm trying my best to pay attention.

About the outfit above, is that kimono not freakin amazing???  I love the stitching on it.  The little shop it comes from is so rad, Nomad, a traveling fashion boutique in NYC.  I so wish I could experience physically shopping in it!  If you are in the NY area go check it out!

This was the day I got my hair cut.  Of course I had a fabulous hair day that day.  That always happens right before you cut your hair, right?  I'm still not sure I made the best decision.  I like it some days, but I also really really miss my long locks.  Luckily it is just hair and its constantly growing :)  (a little pep talk reminder to myself)  At least it is really healthy now!

The next two days I'll be at my Nanna's house for her birthday!  Excited to get to spend some one on one time with her and have a girls night out with a movie and dinner.

Is anyone else so glad the christmas holidays are over?  (I am ;)

outfit details: dress + crochet duster - F21 // fringe boots - koolaburra // bag - mahiya leather // necklace - sailor's omen // turquoise + mother of pearl rings - soliloquy jewelry // hornet nest ring - helios jewelry // copper cuff - silk bone jewels // leather wrap bracelet - flourish leather // cowrie shell bracelet - soulmakes

This is one of those outfits I forgot to post a few months back.  It was around the transition of summer's end and the beginning of fall.  This is probably one of my most favorite outfits, so I'm glad its not lost forever!

These fringe boots are so rad and playful.  The way the fringe swings when you walk in them just feels so fun.  As you know, I'm a lover of fringe!!!  Sadly I think this crochet duster is out of stock on F21, but it's quickly become a staple in my closet.  I wore it in one of my latest lookbooks for the Bohemian Collective too!

Digging up these photos from a few months ago is making me miss summer and my ombre hair!  I'm still adjusting to the dark.  Some days I love it, some days I don't.  And I'm seriously contemplating chopping my hair off like this.  But then I see photos of how long it is, and how far Ive come and I get so undecided.  Ahhh...

Today I will be spending as much time as possible by the fireside to ease my cramps.  It feels so good on my soar muscles.  We had appointments and plans for town today and lucky we were able to cancel everything.  (big sigh)

I hope if you find yourself in a spot where you are not feeling so hot today you can find a tiny way to escape for a bit and give yourself some lovin.  Even if its just laying on the floor for 5 minutes and breathing deeply.  xo

outfit details:  sweater c/o swell // owl shirt c/o wolf child tees // jeans c/o pylo // necklace c/o gypsy love store // seashell ring c/o special j creations // turquoise ring c/o adorn by sarah lewis

This is what I wore to the Saves The Day concert a few weeks back.  I'm absolutely in love with Wolf Child Tees.  Ive been a fan for a long time now, and they are so so cozy, especially the looser styles.  I was very excited to find out that Sabrina, the designer, not only draws the designs but also has each style shirt custom made, choosing each fabric and cut herself.  So rad!  She is working on a new collection right now and I can't wait to see what its all about!

I don't normally wear alot of black and white, but I fell in love with this sweater along with this tee.  It's like they were meant to go together.  It was suppose to be cold at the show so I brought two sweaters, and of course ended up most of the night with both of them tied to my purse b/c I was hot.  Even in an outdoor venue, getting that many people in one space naturally heats up the place!

I could quite possibly replace all the jeans in my closet with these Pylo bells!  They are about to be coming out with a new lighter wash, so be on the lookout!  Best Jeans Ever.

Hello monday!  Mondays are pretty much NO fun when you are sick but still have a long to do list.  Yesterday morning I woke up with the start of a soar throat, so I doctored myself all day long, and will continue to through the holiday season.  It's funny, I got sick a few days before Thanksgiving last year too!  My body must be on some sort of sick time schedule.  Ive got 3 solid days now before Thanksgiving to get myself back to normal.

I wore this outfit above a week ago (seems so much longer than that) when we had errands to run in town.  I got my new glasses that day, which I have worn every day since!  I actually don't think I have even put my contacts in since I got them.  This outfit has a few of my favorite pieces Ive had in my closet for a while... besides the jewelry & scarf, none of these items are in stores anymore, at least I highly doubt it.  I think this sweater will be a timeless piece in my closet.  I love the way it looks with this scarf from Elizabeth Gillett.  The scarf is BIG and super thin and soft, so it could be worn a million ways.  It's so pretty, like an earthy watercolor painting... I'm really thinking about hanging it on my wall as a piece of art when I'm not wearing it.

Oh, and that pretty mug... I wish I could remember the artists name.  I picked it up at a local art show several years back and lost her card.  It's the prettiest mug Ive ever seen though.

I'll be emailing the winners of the giveaways that have ended soon.  There are a few more still running that will be ending any day now, so make sure to enter before they are over.
