Etsy furrrr-ont page >>>

Lately I have been super inspired with my treasury curations on etsy.  Ive been making one almost everyday this past week or so.  And Im so so so excited that two of them made it to the front page.  One yesterday and one today, and two of my favorites!!!  One was for the boys and one for the girls!  A big fat thank you to etsy for choosing my curations!  Only makes me even more inspired to keep on making them.  I love the process of it.  Ive always loved making collages, so this is like a mini virtual collage to me.  This is definitely one way that I find inspiration online.  Much like pinning on pinterest onto little boards.  Except each one ends up being like a little work of art on its own.  Love it. I usually make them in the morning while drinking coffee or at night as a way to wind down.  Its like a little slice of creative me time.

Today we journeyed to the city to grocery shop.  After a bit my bestie is coming over for some much needed time together.  Its my girl day again, so it will be nice to just relax for a bit.  We found some really cute mini pumpkins at whole foods, so we bought one for Bella, Violet and Nico!  All in the appropriate sizes for each of them.  Today was the first day it really felt pretty cool all day.  Feels sooooo good outside.  Time for picnics and bike rides!!!  Now if we could just get rid of whatever is in the air that has been giving me and my boy headaches for days now!

PEACE,
Laura

A love affair with Diane Sagnier >>>

I have fallen madly in love with photographer Diane Sagnier, from the moment I first saw her pinned on Pinterest, to scouring through her albums of photos online on flickr and her blog.  Her dreamy, earthy images bring me back to my core love of photography.  I have not felt as inspired from another photographer since my deep love affair with Lara Jade....  I love the grassroots vibe and the free flowing movement of Diane's work.  You can tell where her art comes from, her soul.  Simply gorgeous, I just had to share.  She also makes fun music you can listen to here.

She also recently appeared in her friends, Camille Marotte & Günther Gheeraert's video called Your Garden.  You can view her post about it here.

Peices of home in photos >>>

Random bits of home and life.  I miss sharing these posts, it seems like its been a while.  Ive been so busy lately, its been harder to remember to take photos throughout my days.  While I was photographing jewelry the other day, I took a moment to take some black and white photos.  I almost forgot how much I love them!  And I just love this photo of Bella on the rug, her eyes are the same color as the rug!!!  The curtain below was my mom's curtain in one of her houses when she was a young adult.  I love it.  And in the photo of me, Im wearing my PPP bell sleeve top.

Today we are attending a very important baby shower!  James brother is having a little baby soon and we are so excited!  I will now be an auntie to two little boys!  Its about time James and I make a little girl for our family, its turning into all boys!!!

Last night was the night we were suppose to go see Rocky Votolato play in austin.  But we both decided against it b/c it was at 10:30, which would put us home at around 4 am... We are too old for that, ha ha!  Im glad we didnt, b/c I ended up having a headache anyway.  James still surprised me with an invite to go out to dinner, so we went to our local wine bar and had yummy sandwiches.  Im already drooling over my leftovers in the fridge!  And its always a double plus when we go there b/c one of our best friends is the cook, so we got to chat with him for a while!

On a side not, there are all new sponsors up on the blog today!  Go check these girls out - you may just find a new friend or something you cant live without :)

Oh, and I made a new treasury this morning called MODERN ROMANCE.

PEACE,
Laura
