After using this little space in my home during february for a love filled space, I dediced to change it up for march. I changed it right after having the campout at my parents house, so this one is heavily themed with that. It includes all of my animal whispers I received throughout the month, including owl, cardinal, dove, deer, turkey, turtle and opossum. As well as rocks and sticks from my parents land. In the little marble box is a handpainted stone that says 'Linda' (my moms name) that she painted a long long time ago. And a wine cork with a T on it for 'Tim' (my dad). The post cards are from Spiral Elixir, and the handpainted face is from Erica Herbert. The cute owl candle holder is from my good friends out in tarpley. I was listening to Dylan records all month, so the vinyl was fitting. And the little cardinal on the left, is one that chirps if its touched... well, it went off by itself several times this month. Kind of always freaks me out, but then I have to remind myself its just my mama... nothin' to be scared about.

My outfit from easter, as you already saw glimpses of from my easter post last night. It was such a good day. I wasn't ready for it to be over when we got home. But, James made me crepes as soon as we got home, so that was a huge plus! This is James favorite sweater of mine... which is kind of why I wore it. And is Bella not the cutest in that first pic? She looks a bit terrified. Or like, mom... come on... No more pictures.... ha ha.
I'm getting really excited about a trip I'm about to take with my family. It's an all girls trip, so my boy will be staying at home. He is starting to get a bit sad... At first he was like, heck yeah, go! ha ha. But its finally starting to sink in that Ill be gone for 5 days. We are going to New Orleans, so this will be my 3rd time there. I'm super excited to revisit it b/c this time well be doing stuff I haven't done before, like a swamp tours. And its just going to be really nice spending time with my women.
So, I'm working double time these next two days to get all my work done, pre post a few blogs posts, and get myself packed and ready. I have lists all around myself. Any orders placed in my shop after wednesday morning will not be shipped until the 10th, just a heads up.
Today, my home is featured over on Moorea Seal's blog! Go send some love over on her space.
FREDRICKSBURG + LUCKENBACH
This is how we spent our Easter. It was perfect. We spent the day with James parents. We drove to Fredricksburg for some lunch at Rathskeller. I had eggs benedict and james got peach pecan french toast! We walked around the shops a bit. One shop had the most amazing crystals. Those crystals above were huge. About the size of a super large watermelon. The ammonites were about the size of large dinner plates. They were sooooo gorgeous. I walked away with two smaller stones, apophyllite and stilbite, both of which really reminded me of my mama. And a worry stone.
Then we drove out to Luckenbach for a beer. The South Austin Moonshiners were playing and they were really good. They had a bit of a Jimi vibe which I loved. It was just really nice to get out, have a beer, listen to live music and feel the breeze on my skin, along side my loving family. Couldn't ask for more. It began pouring down rain while we were listening to the band. So so awesome. (I love rain)
James and I took a stroll around the property at Luckenbach and found this most amazing grave site. I would LOVE for someone to do this kind of thing when I die. Its a firepit and circle for friends to gather and celebrate around. What a wonderful idea. This is how I would love to be celebrated after death, around a campfire with good friends. Hell yes.
I hope everyone had a lovely easter. Im pretty happy that mine was not filled with candy and plastic eggs.
