Sweet moments from our rainy days... Violet laying on the floor by the door b/c she wants to go outside but it was raining. And Bella looking outside the window at the little squirrel in the pic above her as it snuck leaves off my plants. This little squirrel has been taunting both Bella and Violet for days now. It's quite comical.
Our earth is rejoicing in this rain! And its made for some very lazy naps in bed for the furries of our house.

Ive had an ombre obsession for quite sometime... James and I joke about it alot, and the glasses are no exception! I'm in LOVE. What I love the most about these frames is that they fit my face and don't slide off like so many glasses do b/c I have a small face. On their site they specifically let you know what size face each frame is for, so I chose a small frame and they are perfect. One of the most annoying things about glasses is I'm constantly having to push them up b/c of my small framed face. I'm pretty confident I could dance the night away in these and they wouldn't fall off, score!

p.s. Ive had alot of these throw my hair up in a bun make-up-less days lately. This month I have found myself over-commited and increasingly emotional and I feel myself needing to retreat a bit. Yet I have far too many things on my plate to just retreat. So for a while this blog may be a whole lot of outfit posts and giveaways (some really rad giveways are scheduled), until I can find the space again to be clear with my heart and my words. When I'm not working, you can most likely find me tucked away in my bed with the twinkle lights on, journaling. October is my favorite month with the seasons changing and Halloween coming up, so I'm really hoping to get my spark back in time for that. I remember feeling this way last year around this time too. I miss my dad alot around Halloween, so I'm sure that is part of it.
Yesterday I had the honor of meeting my friend Takoda from Spirit Tribe in the flesh. She was coming to Texas for a wedding and we were able to get together yesterday morning. She was just as beautiful (actually... more beautiful) as I imagined her to be. We talked for about 10 minutes on my sidewalk before we even made it through the front door, and once we got inside we talked so much time got away from her and she had to rush out the door, and I realized I didn't even get to show her around the whole house or even my studio! Ha! Which is totally okay b/c that means we were just very engaged in each other which is whats it all about anyway. It was a joy to meet her and I can't wait to one day venture out to Santa Fe... She hand delivered a few pieces I'll be featuring in an upcoming Bohemian Collective shoot, and the dreamcatcher above is one of them. It is soooooo stunning in person, I can't even explain. She used my birthstones and the colors and vibe of it could not feel any better and closer to my heart if she tried. And I love that it is almost as tall as I am!
I'm so happy I said yes to meeting her. In all honesty I get super high anxiety when I meet new people, or even see people I love dearly that I haven't seen in a long time. I can be pretty good at making up excuses b/c of my anxiety... so it was good for me to say yes with no hesitation! I feel blessed to call Takoda my friend and it felt so good to have her in my home space...
