James has been off work this week.  He took some time off he had stored up from work for his birthday.  Its been really nice, waking up with him home, having fires in the morning, drinking coffee together...  The other day we went on a shopping date together.  We had a few gift cards from the holidays so we went to town just to shop, which is something that rarely ever happens!  Usually its just for groceries.  It ended up being the coldest day weve had so far, but it was so nice to get out of the house.  I actually ended up getting grumpy after the first store (best buy)... that place does something to me.  The lights or something, I always leave grumpy.  Ha ha.  (can you say pms??)  Or maybe it really is just that place.  Probably all of the electrical gadgets and bright lights turned on all at once, complete overload and it makes my body start malfuntioning... (just a fun little tidbit you didn't know about me)...

SO, in other news, I am so excited b/c I am redoing The Bohemian Collective blog (again)!  It will be up in a few days, along with a brand new lookbook that has been in the works.  There will be a few new regular contributing editors too, so there will actually be blog updates a few times a week from now on!  So stoked!  Ive been kind of sad about that blog for about a year now b/c I have not been able to give it the love and attention it deserves by myself, so this is going to be such a huge thing for me! 

Today we have our first appointment with our realtor about selling my parents house.  I can do this... I can do this... I can do this...

ROOTS & FEATHERS // MADE TO ORDER

Today is a very exciting day for Roots & Feathers because I am opening up so many of my past favorite pieces to be created again, made to order.  This is something I have wanted to do for over a year now, and am finally ready to do.  Before I was worried it would make me too busy, but I decided just to make all of the made to order items available, but allow myself 1-2 weeks for production.  So now, you can order some of my personal past favorites at any time!!!  This includes my gypsy & prayer flags, breastplates, dreamcatcher necklaces and so much more!  Please not on all made to order items supplies may need to be purchases before production which can make the shipping date prolonged.  If you need something asap, just message me before hand to make sure I have all materials in stock.  (I'm squealing with excitement over here to be able to make these babies available to you again!  I realized as a one man band, I can never have all the items in stock that I would like to at any given time, so hopefully this is the solution!)

PIECES OF HOME

1. I did a new years spread with my Wild Unknown deck, and then I translated to my Medicine Woman deck as well for comparison.  I will be working with each card as the months go by...

2. I revamped my studio again.  I was needing more desk space, so I brought in one of our pop desks and made it into a corner space instead of just up against one wall.  So far I'm loving it!  And so is bella.  She has already claimed her new spot in the studio in front of the window.

3. James gave me a late xmas gift and I couldn't be more excited!  When I found out these two were making an album together my jaw dropped, and then when I found out it was a classic country album I just about came out of my skin.  It is SO GOOD.

4. a necklace I made for my sister Rebeca of Gypsies Caravan.  It ended up being one of my favorite pieces I have ever made.

5. Sacred time with myself... This time I made for myself is a must, I would wither without it.  This beautiful journal is from Aquarius Nation's new Transit Reading Courses, which is sooooo good!  You should join us in the next round!
