The moment I found Junim LA I fell in love.  The colors and perfect washes that are on many of their fabrics are just to die for.  The one I'm wearing is made from reclaimed silk and then hand dyed in their studio.  It reminds me of a beautiful watercolor.  Pretty soon it will be too hot in Texas to wear long sleeves, so I'm soaking it in while I can.  Although I can't wait for next fall to layer this beauty with leggings and boots and my furry jacket.  Oh yes...

I am LOVING this wall hanging I got from my friend Marissa.  She no longer wanted it and passed it onto me and it is so perfect for my home.  It added just the right element.  And this peacock chair is just on loan from a friend for an upcoming photoshoot, but I'm stealing as many shots as I can in it while I have it.  I can't wait to find my very own peacock chair one of these days.  I'm dreaming of a natural colored one in the big full size, preferably with the beautiful detailing that is on many of them... One day, its going to happen!  Ive been calling it home to me for some time now. :)

NEW MOON NATURE HIKE

On the new moon a few days ago James asked me if I wanted to go to his folks house and walk around in the creek, and I jumped to saying YES!  I have been working so much and so hard lately any little excuse for a break, especially out in nature, I am game!  It was just what I needed.  One of our favorite things to do is just walk around the woods and creek that he grew up on.  I always bring a bag with me to pick up sticks, feathers and bones along the way.  This time I found a beautiful old brown bottle and a buzzard feather. 

And today Im taking the DAY off!  I'm so excited.  Life really has been hectic lately, so today will bring some much needed relief. 

What do you do when you are burnt out, but have little time to escape?

This is probably one of my favorite outfit to date... I love O'Neill's Festival Season Collection.  So many super easy comfy boho threads.  These pants are probably the most comfortable things Ive ever worn. Love, love, love.

And this leather Spiral Drift necklace is still one of my all time favorite pieces.  She is just such an amazing artist.  The other necklace is one from a new collection I'm working on.  Ill have it in the shop soon.  (hopefully)
