Ive been trying really hard to get back on my green (or purple) drink everyday.  Ive failed plenty of times, but each day I will try again.

We took Violet out to my folks house several times this week. This was from a little walk through the overgrown field.

I'm seriously pretty obsessed with these booties from Buyamba.  They are a wonderful company with amazing ethics, and make the cutest shoes!

I had to snag the Wild Unknown's two children books for our one day kiddos... they may not be around then.  Some things are worth snagging way early.

My new autumnal altar.  James found me this amazing skull out on my parents property, so I felt it needed a proper place to be loved.

James surprised me with a gift of face masks from one of my favorite herbalists, Wild Honey Apothecary.  This is the indigo honey mask.  I'm in love.

It's no secret Ive been dreaming up our dream home for quite some time now.  I spent the other night searching high and low online for homes I could see myself in, in the area I would like to move to.  Then I took my old home inspiration books off my shelves and sat in bed thumbing through each page.  It's nice to dream!

I caught Violet with her sleepy eyes.  Well one of them at least.  She gets the cutest sleepy eyes before bed every night.

I've been admiring boyfriend jeans from afar for quite a long time, so I finally snagged a pair when AE had a major jean sale.  I must say they are quite comfortable.  But they get saggy super fast, and don't do wonders for your ass... ;)  It's always nice to have a pair of really comfy jeans in your closet though.  I think they will get alot of wear this winter with some oversized sweaters. 

I am getting so excited about this fall weather that has arrived.  Getting dressed in fall is my absolute favorite.  It has been so nice outside the past week or so.  Weve been going out to my parents house almost everyday this month, and each time I go I collect fall colored leaves off the ground from the trees out there.  It's so gorgeous out there this time of year.  It always feels more magical in the fall and spring. 

I just got my new computer up and running yesterday, so things have been a bit slow over here.  I'm working on getting my photos and folders all sorted out from my old computer.  We got everything transferred onto an external hard drive just in time.  Literally the next day my computer died completely.  I'm not sure what I would do if I lost all my photos again.  Several years ago I made a stupid mistake and accidentally deleted over 3,000 photos, which included most of the photos I had of my mom.  That just about crushed me.  We tried all sorts of recovery programs and nothing worked.  I'm just glad that didn't happen again!

I'm so excited b/c my bundle of magazines I ordered for family and giveaways should be on my doorstep tomorrow!!!  Don't forget to go enter the giveaway we have going on the boho blog and instagram. 

PIECES OF LIFE

Found this beautiful dragonfly on the ground.  Dragonfly has been coming back to me lately.  They always remind me of my mother and the time surrounding her moving to the next realm.  They always come to me during a time of transition or transformation.  Incredible little creatures.

Had an amazing thrift score the other day!  This was all from the same store and was all under $15.  Those planter pots are just about the coolest ones Ive ever seen.  The top wooden thing is handmade and has the artists name burned on the bottom.  I'm assuming its a utensil holder, but I'm sure it will get filled up with incense, feathers or others things of that nature.  And I'm a sucker for old punched brass.  I love the way candles flicker through them.  And old wooden bowls.  I have... alot of weaknesses. 

During James times off we took a 3 hour spontaneous hill country drive.  It was the best time.  Just being together, driving through the beautiful hills.  We only saw about one other car the whole drive.  It's so nice when you don't have anyone tailing you and you can just cruise at your own pace and take in your surroundings.

I made french toast one morning while he was off too.  It's not very often we get to have breakfast together, so it was a huge treat.  And oh so yummy!

Since I got my preview copy of the Bohemian Collective Magazine in my hands Ive been taking it everywhere with me.  Just to hold, and browse, over and over and over.  I hope I don't get sick of it before its even released, ha ha!

I'm back to making shakes everyday.  I took, um... a really long time off of having them.  It feels good to get back to nurturing my body in good ways.

We took the table and canopy off our porch recently, and one morning while James was off he woke up before I did and surprised me with a pillow palette on the porch to have my morning coffee on!  It was so sweet.  And Violet was a big fan of it too!  Here I am first thing in the morning with my nose strip still on :)

Found this pretty little feather the other day.  My camera picked up a blue hue on its spine, but in person its just grey.  I thought that was interesting though.  And I love this sweet little ring from Silk Bone Jewels.

I finally got evidence that Bella tries to steal my eggs every morning.  Literally, every morning.  Wherever I eat, she is up on my stuff constantly trying to get to my eggs.

My favorite spot in the house.  This moon.  These windows.  Twinkle lights.  Heaven.
