Feeling loved...

Yesterday I founded myself flooded with love from people.  Made me realize that those bad apples that seem to come up in my life from time to time are nothing compared to all of the amazing people I have found in my life, at home and on the internet.  I feel very blessed to have made some of the connections I have in my life.

I received these very good smelling incense from an online friend yesterday.  They smell yummy and she had them packaged up so lovely.  And the words written inside this card I will cherish forever.  Thank you Hillary.

My bestie recently took a two week trip to California and brought me back these rocks and shells from the beach.  I love them.  Reminds me so much of my mom.  And she also scored an amazing collection of vinyls the other day and gave me a few, including my favorite Neil Young album.  I cant wait to get a frame and showcase the inside artwork in my house!

A super sweet girl named Taibi sent me this wonderful little leather pouch that reminded her of me.  I think it is just precious.  And a while back she also sent me the amazing little art piece below.  She is definitely a talented girl

These were actually birthday gifts from a special friend.  I was pretty overwhelmed with her thoughtfulness in these gifts.  This amazing cookie jar is from the 60's, and no telling how old the singer embroidery is.  I am just enamored with them.  There were also a few other goodies in there.  Thank you Staci, you are indeed a sweetheart.

Thank you girls for your amazing hearts and thoughtfulness.  I feel it.

PEACE,
Laura

Crafty gifts from friends...

The other day I received two wonderful packages from two of my current sponsors this month.  I have come to know both of these girls to find they are super sweet and very crafty.  They are good friends in real life and do alot of crafty things together, like craft shows and photoshoots for their products together.  Both of their work compliments each other so well.  I can only imagine that it is great fun to be able to do this with one of your girlfriends.

I was waiting to receive a box of hand me down clothes from Leah of Sookie Says and she sent along this sweet little headband she made for me as an extra goodie.  Its darling, and James said he really liked it, which I thought was cute.  Sometimes the things I think he will totally hate, he surprises me and tells me its cute.

And as soon as I saw Tia of A Cup of T post her new collection of embroidered vintage fabric earrings, I fell in love.  She made me this custom pair.  I picked the fabric/thread combo and requested a larger size, and they came out perfect.  You must check out this little collection, they are just soooo sweet.  And speaking of these two ladies, there will be a feature of them coming soon!

And speaking of getting things in the mail, today I received one of the most sweetest gifts ever, but I must wait until I snap a proper photo, and you will know why when I post it!  Can I just say, I LOVE MY JOB.  I have met so many wonderful people along the way b/c of it.  Seriously the relationships I have formed with so many people across the world are outstanding.  Yes, I occasionally get the bad apple who leaves a rude comment here, but those people I could care less about.  Im about quality, not quantity.  I dont care how many people read my blog.  I just love that I have made friends with so many people who do.  Its one of the biggest perks of my job and I feel truly blessed in this community of amazing people.

PEACE,
Laura

Gifts of Love...

Once again, Im so happy to say what wonderful friends I have made through doing what I love.  Leah of Sookie Says (one of my current sponsors) sent me the sweetest gift just because.  Well, really the note said as a congrats on getting our house!  Super fun to get a house warming gift that is for me, he he.  Thank Leah!!!  I adore it so much.  Not only is this girl beautiful & sweet, she is alot like me when it comes to details, just look at her packaging, adorable!  She currently only sells these on her facebook, but soon will have them up in her etsy shop as well.

Making friends along the way in this business has been one of the most rewarding things to me.  Its not just 'what' i create, but its 'who' it goes to.  I love knowing my work goes into some of the coolest homes around the globe.  YOU GUYS are what makes the world of VIOLET BELLA go round!

PEACE,
Laura
