I scored this adorable little silk embroidered number at a thrift store in Slidell. The one thrift store we stumbled upon was awesome!!! I could of spent hours in it. But instead, I frantically skimmed through the two rooms full of authentic 60's & 70's clothing, freaking out inside. I came away with this dress, an adorable little vintage suitcase and a hand crocheted purse. The prices were not cheap so I had to be very selective. I was in pure heaven for a moment though. And Im so glad I got this dress. I love it. Although there are stains on the back of it... I don't even care, I love it that much. I need to see if I can work on them though. And honestly, seeing this dress on me makes me realize I need to add more color to my wardrobe. And (yes I start alot of sentences with and...) I love my Blowfish Gyspy sandals so much I got them in a second style. They are my favorite! I love the weave on the bottoms of these.
I wore this out to Tarpley the other night to watch a friend play some live music and hang out with our other besties who we haven't seen in ages. It was a wonderful laid back night with good friends and beer. Just what the doctor ordered. And Im super excited to get to see them again tonite!
So, I curled my hair in Louisianna for the first time in a very long time (with an actual curling iron) and I loved it. So I attempted it again here. It looks so good for like 30 minutes and then just goes flat. Thanks to many people leaving wonderful feedback on my instagram photo, Im going to try some new methods b/c I love it curled!!! And Im pretty sure Ive decided to grow my bangs back out for a while. They are to the point where I need to grow them or cut them again and I always go back and forth. This time, we grow.
