Wearing my Umber Dove ring on my wedding ring finger has kept these words so alive. This new moon in Virgo has brought in deep awareness and reminders that I am in charge of the direction of my life and what I allow to affect me. I choose love, forgiveness, and presence. I choose to create fertile grounds for new growth in my life. I choose to stare myself in the face and own the reflection of what the past mirrors to me. I choose to embrace what makes me feel whole, loved and accepted, and let go of that which doesn't feed me, nourish me or help me blossom into the best version of myself. I'm constantly learning, growing, changing, letting go, making new, as we all are. I choose to change the world by loving myself and nurturing my small piece of the world. I may not be able to do great acts but I can do lots of small acts with love. I fumble and fail and make mistakes, some that embarrass me for years, but that's okay, it's all part of it. I will continue to try to learn from my mistakes and use those lessons as tools for my future. I carry with me in my toolbox the heartbeat of my mother, and will one day share this heartbeat with a little of my own. My prayer to the universe is to help me carve out the places inside me that no longer serve me or anyone else, and make room for a new light to enter.

Hello Monday. I thought I would be feeling a little hungover from my wine last night, but luckily that is not the case! James made Roman Saltimbocca for dinner, which calls for wine, which means I drank wine along with cooking with it... ha ha. I rarely ever drink wine actually, so my two glasses were all I needed. I had full intentions to go to yoga this morning, as it's already been a month since Ive been, but found out last night James worked today. I thought he was off. So instead, I'll do some yoga and other movement at home today. I'm also going to dive deeply into magazine creating today as well. I have about 30+ emails to respond to, and it's time I get really organized with what needs to be accomplished on this baby. Time to focus, focus, focus.
Tonite we will be celebrating the airing of Uncommon Grounds, La Colombe's new show. So I want to get some things done today so I can be free as a bird tonite with my hunny. He's even going to cook a steak dinner in celebration!!! What! I'll share more about this next week. As for this outfit... isn't this Flying Tomato shirt so pretty? I have way less black in my closet that I did 15 years ago, mainly having two fluffy white babies makes it hard to have dark colored clothes without always being a hairy monster myself. I just love this top though. And it is INSANELY amazing with this Sailor's Omen necklace. Like made-for-each-other crazy good.
