A little more color than I usually wear going on in this outfit, and I think I love it.  Sometimes I forget  how much I love the color blue.  This kimono has the loveliest hue of blue... Makes me feel majestic! ha ha.

Last week one of my favorite designers (and sweetest of gals) released her new collection for Mamie Ruth, and this tee is one of the pieces from it.  I always love her vision, and it couldn't of come out at a better time with all the festivals coming up.  All the ones I won't be attending, but wishing I was... those ones.  ;)

My poor little teepee is in need of some TLC.  Some of the branches are falling off.  I'm so excited for spring, Ill say it for the millionth time... now that the weather is warmer Ill be attending to some things like this.  And finishing up my backyard hillbilly spa!!!  Come on summer!  I'm ready. 

THREADS // OFF TO A CONCERT

I think I wear a variation of this outfit pretty often.  You just can't go wrong with a pair of fun bell bottoms, a great tee & your favorite vintage jacket.  This is my first outfit post with my new hair!  Although I have a few already shot from weeks ago that I haven't shared, so you may see my hair flip flop around for a while.  It's starting to really grow on me.  When I look at photos of my ombre I really miss it, but I'm embracing a new look for this season at least, allowing myself to feel comfortable with a new look.  Bottom is beginning to fade and blend into the top a bit more, so its looking better that when I first dyed it.

Last friday I went to go see Fred Eaglesmith with my bestie.  It's been a little tradition of ours.  Weve been seeing him play live for about 13 years now.  This was our 6th time to see him together.  I have to admit, I was a little disappointed for the first time with the show.  They played pretty much the same songs as last time, and told the exact same jokes, which aren't as funny the 3rd or 4th time hearing them.  Just about every show we go to they call someone out, for talking too much, or something.  This time they called out my bestie b/c her phone rang.  It was pretty uncool.  They may think its annoying to hear a phone ring, but when a mother waits months to see your show and can't turn her ringer off b/c she has 3 little ones at home who may need her... Surely it's all in good humor and fun, but after time and time again it just becomes rude, especially to fans who love you and pay to come see you play.  I may just stick to the albums for a while and forget the live shows, sadly.  I really cannot wait for Steve Earle to come back around... that is a show you leave with nothing but a big full heart.

Anyway...I am pretty damn excited it's jacket weather!

My sweet friend Alexz from Bird Trouble just launched her new fall line for 2014, called Lost In The Right Direction, inspired by her year long travels and living in Mexico.  The collection has 8 new bag styles in it and are all supporting sustainability and traditional Oaxaca, Mexico textile work.  It has been a true joy to watch her grow as an artist and come out with new designs.  I own a few of her bags and they are all made with impeccable quality and originality.  Of course, I love it when she incorporates fringe into her designs...

I'm in love with this Novella Royale top.  I found for a 6th of its original price somewhere (I can't remember which site now) and when it came in I thought I was going to have to return it b/c it was cropped higher than I thought it would be and I don't bare my tummy, just not something I'm comfortable with.  Luckily, these high waisted jeans from Pylo have been my saviour more than once in this regard!  I can now wear all my crop tops with them and not worry it!  Seriously my favorite jeans I own.  Hands down.

And how gorgeous is this handmade feather and turquoise ring from Arrok?  Her work blows my mind!  This was a sweet gift she sent me and I'm so so so in love with it.  Speaking of sweet gifts, my girl Takoda of Spirit Tribe also sent me this necklace as a gift.  I'm feeling pretty filled up with love from my friends right now!  How did I get so blessed?  My artist tribe is seriously amazing and full of love and generosity.  It fills me up so deeply.

What I wore on a little date with the boy last week.  I swear I could wear Novella bell bottoms everyday of my life and never get tired of them!  These ones are my personal favorite.  Their new collection is about to drop and I can't wait to see what it looks like.  So far, Ive never been disappointed! 

The past few days have kind of been a blur.  We went to Wimberely on the 4th and spent the day there.  It was sooooo hot we decided to leave earlier than planned, and I got on an Icee on the way home, something I haven't had since I was young, and within an hour I had a migraine forming.  I'm not sure if it was just the sugar, or a combo of the sugar and heat and lack of enough water throughout the day, but it became a 3 day on and off headache.  Just when I think its finally gone, bam, it returns.  It came back full force in my sleep last night, but luckily I was able to fall back asleep and actually get some deep sleep and it feels good this morning so far!  Even though they weren't full blown for most of the time they still suck when they linger... Like they are saying, don't make any sudden move or Ill come back at anytime!  So hopefully Im in the clear! 

I was able to get some new jewels made in between rest and they are in the shop now!  Ive also been working on editing photos for the next boho collective lookbook release!  I can't wait to share some exciting news about The Bohemian Collective that Im working on!  This are really shifting and growing over there and I couldn't be happier! 

Oh, and guess what!!!  I found my peacock chair in wimberely!!!!  Ill share some pics of it soon for those of you who don't follow me on instagram.  I'm so in love.... Ive been manifesting it in my mind the last few weeks and I had no idea it would come this soon!
