This was probably one of the most coziest outfits Ive ever worn.  So colorful, so fun & so cozy.   

I'm super excited, in about one hour my friends Katelyn & Makenna will be at my house!  I'll be meeting Makenna for the first time and I get to show them my home town.  Well, Katelyn knows it well now since she has been here so many times.  I'm super stoked though!

I have admired galaxy leggings from afar for a long time now, but honestly thought I would feel silly wearing them.  Why?  I don't know b/c I'm not usually afraid to wear anything.  But I'm so glad I gave them a shot!  I love how they look with this top!!  I wish so bad we could get more of this style top for skyline fever, but they are no longer available.  We have one or two more in the shop and once they are gone, they are gone.  Fingers crossed they will become available again. 

I am a bit under the weather today, my own fault.  James and I had a little date last night at the wine bar, and I had a little too much fun with the wine.  He says I was talking about flying monkeys as we were going to bed, but I'm not quite sure I believe him.  Ha ha.  

My energy lately has been all over the place.  I feel like Im going in a million directions, which is exciting, but also just very scattered feeling.  I know I need some time to just chill, walk in nature, and be.  Really what my body needs is a day or two at the beach... *dreamin*

I'm pretty darn excited about this outfit post b/c James is in it too!  The sweet Kylee from Ropesouls sent us both a pair of their handmade rope sandals to try out, so we thought it would be fun to style them up together!  I love the idea behind their company, changing lives through the creation of their shoes.  Read more about it here.  And read about their current project bringing jobs to Ethiopia here.  I think it is pretty rad what they are doing.

We took these down by our second private river spot in our subdivision, and were super sad to see the water was so low down there.  One of the deepest spots and it's already so low you don't really want to get in.  Luckily our river spots are still so beautiful just to go on nature walks, so even without the water its beautiful.  But man do I dream of the summers we used to have growing up here when the river were abundant and flowing and you could tube and rope swing.   

On a random note, I have seen more baby deer this year than ever!  Everywhere I look there is a baby deer, or two!  Almost everyday.  They are just the cutest damn things in the whole world.  I still squeal every time I see one.  I wish so badly I could have a mini deer pet!  And yesterday I had a deer come up to my studio window while I was working in there and peek in very curiously.  It was so cute!

Hello sunday.  I woke up from the wildest dream this morning.  I was at my parents house.  I was walking down the driveway, feeling happy and nostalgic, and remember saying the words 'art and creativity always win'.  Then when I got closer to the house I heard a wild bird call, I look over and it was a peacock sitting in a pit of coal and flames.  As we made eye contact it got up and flew away, and its wings were on fire.  It flew towards the pond to put its wings out.  I thought it was going to put its wings out in the pond, but instead it landed on the head of a turkey to do so, ha ha.  Then I woke up.  Reminds me of the pheonix rising from its own ashes. 

Im always fascinated when animals come to me in my dreams, especially so dramatically like that.   

Yesterday we had plans to visit some friends for a party, but we opted to stay home instead.  I was just not feeling good overall and just need to be home.  James and I napped, and then eventually I spent a little time in the studio creating.  I also finally started a Society 6 page.  Ive only wanted to for a few years now, but just never did.  Ill be adding more all the time.  You can find it at anytime through the button on the side bar, the one that will have an image of an iphone case or whatnot on it, below the kv moon reports button.   Speaking of which, there will only be the main video this new moon for the reports, as well as the written reports.  Ill get those up as soon as they are all done!  This cancer energy has us all pulling back and slowing down, so we are taking the time off of this one for that.

Oh, and isn't that bird skirt adorable?  Im not usually one for super girly skirts, but I just love the cut of this one and the birds!
