What a great weekend this has been!  Full of friends, babies, rocks, time with James, good sandwiches, live music, studio time, and sleeping in.  Feels very refreshing for the new week ahead.   

Today I also created a DIY I'll be sharing on the blog tomorrow.  I'm so excited about this one!!!  There will also be a new giveaway up tomorrow as well, so check back!  I'm off to make some dinner and enjoy the rest of this weekend while I can.   

p.s. I think the dress in this outfit post is technically a 'tunic' but I'm a shorty so it passes for a dress on me.  I just wore it over a black slip.  I think it will be rad over leggings too! 

HELLO SATURDAY

I just had to share this photo of me and James from my instagram this last week.  It is my favorite photo of us to date.  Together, we can be pretty darn dorky and silly. 

This morning we had a donut date and went looking for garage sales.  I haven't had a donut in so long and I saw a photo on instagram the other day of some donuts, and I just had to have one.  I told James I wanted a donut date, so that is just what we did this morning.  We didn't find any good garage sales, but we did go visit the sweet little rock lady that we met a few months ago and got some new pretty rocks!  You can see them on my instagram.  So so pretty.  I absolutely love talking to her about rocks too, the sweetest lady. 

So far, this is a pretty good weekend!  Last night I got to hang out with one of my besties and it was just the best time.  It had been so long since we had been able to go out b/c of her pregnancy, so it was way overdue, and I think we both soaked up every second of it.  We got to listen to a local duo friends of ours play some good tunes too.  Perfect.  Hope everyone else is having a great weekend!

This threads post is a more day to day way to wear some of the items from the Wanderlust Lookbook that just released.  After shooting one of the looks, this is what I wore for the rest of the day.   

Thank you to everyone who has commented on the lookbook with such sweet words!  It means alot.  I love hearing feedback after putting so much love, energy and time into a project like a lookbook.  And since it was one for Roots and Feathers, its definitely like a baby of mine.  So thank you!  You are more than welcome to embed the lookbook on your blog if you want, just send me a link so I can see it! 

It's now time to take a big exhale, and do some very regular life things, like laundry, dishes, dirty floors, grocery shopping, etc.
